Polisher Research Institute study results published in Annals of Long-Term Care


The Abramson Center’s Polisher Research Institute’s (PRI) article “Honoring Nursing Home Resident Preferences for Recreational Activities to Advance Person-Centered Care” was published in the February 2016 issue of the Annals of Long-Term Care.

The article is the result of a six-month study using the Preference Match Tracker tool, which helps long-term care facilities implement person-centered care through recreational activities. By identifying resident interests and tracking attendance at favored activities, the tool provides a way to measure how well recreational programs are meeting individual resident preferences.
