| RABBINIC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Rabbinic internships at the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life are designed to provide rabbinic students, from all movements of Judaism, with an opportunity to cultivate sensitivity to the special needs of aging persons and their families, and to strengthen skills in pastoral care. Rabbinic internships sponsored by the Abramson Center for Jewish Life and the
Martha Stern Memorial Rabbinic Internship Program, provide pastoral care and facilitate religious life. Interns develop counseling and assessment skills through individual supervision and group case review conferences. Academic presentations on aging enable interns to become acquainted with the special needs of older adults.
Rabbinic internships are offered twice a year. To receive an application, send us an e-mail: info@abramsoncenter.org or call (215) 371-1818..
