Rachel R. Resnick, M.S., joined the Polisher Research Institute as Research Librarian in October, 2002, after having served
as Manager of Library Services for Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, Pa. She has also served as Assistant Librarian in the
Behavioral Healthcare Library of the Institute of Clinical Training and Research at the Devereux Foundation in Villanova, Pa.
Rachel received her Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University's College of Information Science
and Technology in 1996. She is a member of the Medical Library Association and the Special Libraries Association. She serves as
communications chair and newsletter editor for the Philadelphia Regional Chapter of the Medical Library Association. She has
written for the library community on topics as diverse as the role of librarians serving on institutional review boards, and
vacation coverage for solo librarians.
